On 5th October, 1839 she married Charles Burrell (56) from Bocking, Braintree, Essex in Havering-atte-Bower. He was born in 1812. In 1841 he was a wine merchant.

Her husband, Charles, died on 25th December, 1866. He had been born in Bocking in 1812.
By 1851 he was a wine and spirit merchant and by 1861 had added Agent to Insurance Offices to his liquid interests.

In 1881 Hester is found as an annuitant and widow living at Albion Villa, Linden Grove, Camberwell, Surrey where she is shown as a lodger. She died at 62 Linden Grove on 20th January, 1885.
