She also spent her childhood years at Wares Farm, Good Easter. She married Arthur John Tucker (224) at St Andrew’s Church, Good Easter in 1904.

Arthur was born in Q1 1868 on Lake Farm, Langtree, Devon.

 

He was the only son of John Elias Tucker born at Rivaton, Torrington, Devon in 1846 and Mary Tucker nee Ley born1841.

 

He was still at Lake Farm in 1871.

 

He was the farmer at Lake Farm in 1911.

 

He had three sisters – Maude born 1871; Bessie born 1876 and Edith born 1883.

 

He died on 15th June, 1931 at Lake Farm.
