Olive Eveline Collingwood (229) was born in Hong Kong on 2nd October, 1909.

 

 

On 2nd April, 1911 she was living at 12 Edgecombe Terrace, Devonport, Devon.

 

 

She married the Reverend Cecil Howard Dunstan Cullingford (278) early in 1933 in Bristol, Gloucestershire. He was born in 1905 in Clapham, Battersea, London.

At the age of six he was living at 5 Sumburgh Road, Balham, London SW. He was a resident of Battersea in 1926, 1928 and 1929. In 1939 he was commissioned into the Royal Army Chaplain’s department:

 

From 1946 to 1956 he was Headmaster of the Monmouth Grammar School, one of the Haberdashers Company Schools.

 

He was made Rural Dean.

 

He wrote several books on caving:

 

“Author of Manual of Caving Techniques”

“British Caving: An Introduction to Speleology”

“British Caving”

“Science of Speleology”

 

 

 

 

He died in Waveney, Suffolk in August, 1990.

 

 

Olive Eveline died in Surrey in 1971.
